North Parramatta

Voila, le demenagement a ete complete avec succes cette fin de semaine. Apres m'etre battu avec une van louee pour l'occasion dans le traffic de Sydney du vendredi apres-midi, j'ai pu demenager mes cocsins sans trop de heurts. Je suis maintenant pleinement etabli dans mon nouveau chez-moi (avec wireless internet svp!). Le quartier est tres sympa (avec plusieurs parcs dans le coin, dans un quartier immediat tres tranquille, mais aussi avec un quartier eloigne tres commercial avec restos et cafes, avec un petit centre asiatique en Parramatta et un shoppingtown immense pas trop loin (3 min en voiture ou bien 15 min de marche!). Et le meilleur, ca m'a pris 10 min pour me rendre au travail ce matin.

Au travail, disons que je suis pas mal occupe. J'apprends beaucoup et je fais plus de gestion que je pensais, mais bon, ca m'interesse bien.

Je vais mettre quelques photos de ma nouvelle place bientot!

Kebab par soir de pleine lune sur Bondi beach

Aujourd'hui, apres le travail, je n'avais pas envie de rentrer a la maison... Je ressentais l'envie de decouvrir un peu plus de l'Australie. Donc, quoi de mieux qu'un bon kebab sur la plage de Bondi par un soir de pleine lune pour un peu d'inspiration?

Donc, 45 min plus tard (je me suis perdu en cours de route!) je me retrouvais sur la plage deserte (avec quelques joggeurs) a contempler les vagues vrombrissantes sur le sable.

Et je degustais mon Kebab a l'agneau!!

Rock Climbing

Oh yeah, I've been rock climbing yesterday. So my fingers and forearms are hurting me this morning... ahhh... such a nice feeling. I've only been to the one back home in Laval and I can tell you that the Sydney Rock Climbing center is more interesting. It has higher elevation and some really cool trails. They are supposed to be the biggest one in Sydney. Alot of side walls that you can use, some caves on the way and one very cool pinnacle (you go up a wall, then you have to reach the pinnacle that is on the other side... heaps of fun). I've been with my friend/colleague Joel and I think I can learn alot from him.

Some news

Well, not so much going lately. I am slowly preparing my move to a new flat, so I am not looking forward to change all my address details once again (especially since I just got that done with my credit card, bank account, automobile stuffs). I should be out of Strathfield in two weeks!

Hmmm, other than that, I will be flying to Melbourne from August 4th to August 18th for my tour of duty. Quantas has bought some support for their new A320 sim and some engineers have to go there to baby-sit the sim! Should be fun.

And a hell lot of work going at work...

Hope you are all doing fine... My sister Julie is due very very soon I think. So more to come on that front.
