Was it a Penalty?

I would say that the Italian player took advantage of the situation, that he fell over the Aussie player, not making any efforts to avoid him. Neil put himself in this ackward situation and the experienced Italian player just took advantage and let himself fall to the ground. The rest is history.

It's like putting your money in a tax haven. It's not illegal but it is flirting with fairness. The Italian way apparently...

Oilers out
Socceoos out
Hmm... who should I root for now?

Phase II

Final look at North Head and Nicole's wedding

Well, I went back to North Head again this weekend, trying to maximize my Green Travel pass card by taking the ferry. Finally I was able to get to the very end of the head. So now, I have seen both South Head and North Head!!

There was also Nicole Kidman's wedding on Sunday. Below is the picture of where the ceremony was held. Some roman church. I passed by on my return and geesh, heaps of people and papparazzi... and only a few cars passing and going into the church. Didn't see much!

Allright, 11pm, I am waiting for Michael to pick me up to go down on Norton street at Joel's to go see the Italy - Australia round of 16 game!

Walk from Manly to Shelly beach...

Cool pic, no? Jean, smiling by the cliff...

South Head and the City on the same frame...

Nicole's wedding...

We all love Nicole...

Bonne St-Jean

Bonne St-Jean a tous!!!

Fetez forts!! Oui, oui, toi aussi Jonathan!

PS
Today is June 24th, so it's the Province of Quebec's National Day! Yup, big parties ensue! Bonne St-Jean!

Socceroos! Oi! Oi! Oi!

The Socceroos are through to the next round! Now they are taking on the Italians so Leichardt (the italian sub) is going to be nuts!

I have to see the next game this Tuesday morning (12h30 AM)... It is going to be crazy I reckon!

One week after LA

I was doing finishing to unpack and I found these beautful drawings from lovely Madie. So I have no choice but to share this with all of you! Miss you Madie! You make my heart warmer!

By the way, chi Giao and Fiona, my little sister Phuong Nam loves (well, that's what my mom said!) her new Guess purse. And oh, Anh Dao was wondering how I could have chosen such a nice dress for Nelly-An... And then she found out that it was chi Giao that suggested my that dress! But she loves it too!

Finally, thank you, thank you and thank you for all the spirited "Jean-would-make-such-a-lovely-husband" campaign (including from sexzy guy)! Maybe I can start a web site, or better, a reality show... Who wants to Marry Jean!! Of course, I am open to investigate all possible avenue (but it has to be a SHE :-) and hmm, 18 yo, ahh... young and innocent!!

Hey Ryan, if you read this, how was your honeymoon? I am sure it was GREAT!!!

No more hockey - Autres nouvelles

Win the game, win the cup

Bonne partie!
Go Oilers Go!

PS
Pub tres sympathique!

Toyota Yaris & Stanley cup finals in Edmonton

I just bought a new car! The Toyota YRS 2006, black! It is the intermediate version. The Sporty one but not the DeLuxe. Negotiation was fun as I used some of the tricks I once learned from a colleague.... Should I get tinted windows (probably) what about that protection care plan they have... I should receive it in about two weeks. They are receiving at the end of this week and then paperwork for the following week!

Oh, and have to run because although it is 8h30 on a Sunday morning, I am all set to take the train down to Burwood to the Burwood Hotel pub to watch the Carolina versus edmonton game!! I talked with the bartender yesterday and he said that he'll put the game on for me (especially there aren't that many people at that hour!).

Anyhow, have to run and more spicy details and pictures to follow!

Los Angeles - Ryan and Evelia's wedding

Hola senoras y senores,

After receiving many complains from non-french-speaking friends and family, this blog is now going bilingual n'en deplaise aux puristes! So welcome to all my new guests, and well, those who were just here for the picture so far! :-)

I got back from LAX yesterday Monday and I am still jet-lagged as it is now 4 am and I can't sleep at all. But I did get my 6 hours of sleep before, I am just offset! Well, I enjoyed every moment of my trip to California (except the long hours spent flying, because yup, no friendly someone to make conversation with).

Ryan and Evelia's wedding was very entertaining and I had heaps of fun. We even got the Mariachis playing some traditional mexican music (yes, including La Bamba). The rest of the week was quite something too. Visiting almost all my cousins places (they all have huge houses) and doing pretty cool actvities with them such as Sea World, Cycling by Huntington beach, Hiking in San Bernardino National desertic Park to some Hot Springs on a bloody hot day, hanging by the Redondo beach pier, visiting the Crystal Cathedral, some shopping but mostly spending quality time hanging around the cousins and their family that I really only see on special events.

Let's see some pictures to conclude this first international post!

Canes 1, Oilers 0, Rolosson out
